Global Compentency:

Study Away at Florence, Italy
During my study abroad experience in Italy, I studied at the NYU Florence facility. Being able to travel around Europe and experience the different cultures in person was definitely thrilling. I learned how to adapt in a new setting and stepping out of my comfort zone to enhance my communication skills.

J-Term in Bandung, Indonesia
This Winter Study abroad completed in Indonesia has not only given me a deeper prospective of Indonesian Culture but as well as their economical methods.

Commitment to Service
Alternative Break Trip to Tanzania:
Provided by the GLASS Program, we were presented the opportunity to volunteer at a private hospital named Canossa Dispensary and at a local day care called Mother's Mercy. This service trip taught me how private hospitals look and take care of patients .
Alternative Break Trip to Sri Lanka:
With the partnership of Volunteering solutions students from NYU Tandon had the opportunity to help at a sea turtle conservation. Along with other environmental issues that Sri Lanka faces.
