Attended the Society of Women Engineer's and the Society of Hispanic Engineer's Convention:
Having the opportunity to have recently attended both the SWE and SHPE convention for the first time helped me prepare and learn more about what company's values are, what they look for in candidates as well as knowing what kind of work environment I would like to be in. I think another key thing is knowing what companies care about diversity and inclusion seeing as these conferences aim for minorities group, it was an amazing as amazing to see more representation in these big tech companies.
Project Manager for NYU Tandon Robotic Design Team(RDT)
As part of Tandon's Vertically Integrated Projects help students integrate education and innovation through multidisciplinary programs that foster hands-on learning. These opportunities help students develop professional skills and contribute to real-world challenges.
As part of the Robotics Design Team, we work together to build a Robot that competes in the NASAlunabotics Competition. As a project manager I help the team run their budget, schedule, and system evolution. For the 2024-2025 competition our budget was cut by 10,000 in which my PM team had to evaluate the wants and needs of each competency to understand how this needed to breakdown. As for the schedule, we had to create a gnatt chart to break down our systems review, our NASA deliverables, as well as our own deadlines and team meetings .
